Visiting Indy

Hey people,
I hope you're doing well.  For anyone who still checks this, Ev, Isaiah and I are going to be in Indy this Monday and Tuesday (20th and 21st) and we're faced with the impossible task of trying to see all the people we care about, family and friends, with very little time to do it.  So, I thought I'd send this out, knowing full well that you guys are very busy.  I don't know your work / school schedules, but I thought I'd check.  Ev has a prior commitment Tuesday morning, so she'll be off with Isaiah.  But I'm going to plan to be at the 116th and Keystone Starbucks (if it's still there..on the side of the street with Old Navy, etc.) at 10:00 am on Tuesday morning. I'm just going to sit and read for awhile, which sounds wonderful given my schedule of late, and if any of you can stop by, great!
I'll be praying for you, even if you don't come :) If you get the chance, drop me an email or post and let me know how you are.  Miss you guys,
Rut

correction to Molly's entry on her site regarding our coming:  we'll be at that Starbucks at 4:30 pm, not 5:30.   Thanks again, Molly, for putting the word out!

Hey people,

for anyone who still checks this :)  Ev, Isaiah and I will be in town this weekend, and it will be kind of our Indiana farewell tour.  A bunch of time is already booked with family and the Delaplane / Kennedy wedding, but we'd love to see as many of you as we could.  So, Friday around 4:30 pm we're planning to be at the Starbucks at 116th and Keystone, probably have to be more specific...the one next to Carrabas, Old Navy, Panera, that shopping complex.  And then this Lord's Day, my home church is having a "sending service" for us in the evening.  6pm, 2nd RP church,  4800 N. Michigan Rd. at the intersection of Michigan and 51st, (I think!)

Hope to see at least some of you if you're able...I know it's last minute but things have been crazy out here.  Miss you guys!

Hey People,

I'm going to be preaching and teaching Sunday School this coming Lord's Day (April 2nd) at the Kokomo RPC where I was a few weeks ago.  It was great to see a couple of you there last time...and the rest of you...well, let's just say I'm praying for your souls :)  I realize what busy lives you lead, but if any of you could make it out we'd love to see you...and yes, Evelyn and Isaiah will be there this time!!  If you need directions, go to RPCNA.org, and follow the link to the Indiana congregations, specifically the Kokomo one.  That will give you service times as well.  Let me know if you have any questions!

  Miss you all!

Hey my people, mark your calendars!

For anyone available / interested, our boy Isaiah (two months old this past Monday!) is being baptized on Feb. 26th at my home church.  My brother in law, whom God used to help me and Ev come to reformed convictions in our faith, will be preaching and performing the baptism.  If any of you are available, we'd be honored to have you worship with us and see our boy welcomed into the covenant community.  I realize this presents difficulty for some because of the infant baptism issue.  This would be a great opportunity to see and hear why Presby's have their covenant children baptized, and besides, it'd just be great to see you guys!  But for my Baptist brothers and sisters, I completely understand if you'd rather not come.  No offense would be taken at all.

I miss you guys and hope to see you on the 26th!
